Do you also find it difficult to choose between all the good-looking snacks that are found on the shelves at your local grocery store? It is even more difficult when you know that whatever you decide to keep in the fridge for your family to snack on, not only must fill tummies but also contain the necessary nutrients.

On the plus side, the grocery store is also the perfect place to get imaginative with what combination fruit you can pack in the lunch boxes for the upcoming week. For example, grab some strawberries and pineapple and you will be sure to get a good dosage of sweet delight along with vitamin c, antioxidants and bromelain.

It is also important to make sure that whatever you snack on makes you fuller for longer. Strawberries and any other fruit combination are great options! You may even find yourself daydreaming of the next time you go to the grocer to buy strawberries and another delicious fruit to try with it…I would say, get kiwi’s or papaya…

The best thing about fruit, are that you can eat them in whichever form you feel like. Eat it whole, cut them, dice them, make a fresh smoothy or eat it with some plain yoghurt.
