Deliver a delightful surprise with this quick and easy dessert!


  • 30ml castor sugar
  • 15 ml farm butter
  • 10 ml freshly squeezed lemon juice (organic)
  • 1.25 ml ground cinnamon (Ceylon cinnamon preferably)
  • 250 g strawberries


  • Toasted coconut shavings crushed to cover glazed strawberries
  • Dark chocolate sprinkles to cover glazed strawberries


  • Combine the sugar, butter, lemon juice and cinnamon in a medium saucepan.
  • Cook slowly and stir continuously until thick and syrupy.
  • Remove from the heat and add the strawberries, tossing gently until coated.
  • Serve immediately with homemade custard or ice cream.


  • Cool glazed strawberries on a plate then roll them in fine roasted coconut or chocolate or even both!
