250 g Frozen strawberries, thawed

¼ cup Fresh cream

5 ml Corn flour

5 ml Lemon juice

Little cups with fresh fruit & bits of cake


  •  Place the strawberries, cream, corn flour and lemon juice in a blender, blend until smooth.
  • Pour the strawberry mix into a saucepan and bring to a boil. Stir for 2-4 minutes until thickened.
  • Transfer to a bowl and serve with fresh fruit & cake.

Warmed strawberry recipes are always a bit tricky, in the sense that it must taste good, and the accompanying condiments must work with each other and not against! This warm strawberry fondue works beautifully and because of the fresh cream and zesty lemon juice it pairs well with the fruit and cake.
