Both strawberry and pizza lovers will delight in this fruity feast!

Ingredients (serves 2)

  • 2 bought plain pizza bases
  • 1 ½ cups grated mozzarella or white cheddar
  • 140g goat cheese, crumbed
  • 1 ½ cups strawberries, leafy ends removed and sliced into quarters
  • 18 capers
  • 15 ml fresh mint, chiffonade into short little strips
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • Black Onion seeds & coarse salt
    Honey-cumin drizzle
  • 5 ml Cumin seeds
  • 30 ml of raw honey
  • Pinch of pink Himalayan salt


  • Preheat the oven to 190 degrees Celsius
  • Top the pizza dough with grated mozzarella, crumbed goat cheese, capers and strawberries. Sprinkle black onion seeds, coarse salt and black pepper over.
  • Bake on a lightly oiled baking sheet or pizza stone for 10-12 minutes until cheese is bubbly and the pizza crust is golden.
  • Meanwhile, place the honey, cumin and salt in a small saucepan. Gently simmer the mixture on medium-low heat. Remove just as it starts to bubble (keep a close eye!)
  • Serve the pizza with fresh mint and the honey-cumin drizzle!
